Cytokinetics welcomes scientific and medical professionals to our exhibit at several major clinical conferences each year. We encourage conference attendees to learn more about Cytokinetics, our research and development activities, and specifically our programs directed to cardiac, skeletal and smooth muscle. At our booth, Cytokinetics’ scientists are available to provide an educational overview of our programs including the underlying mechanism of action, and potential therapeutic applications of our drug candidates.

Sarcomere Wall

The centerpiece of our exhibit booth is an animatronic depiction of the sarcomere, the fundamental biological unit which mediates the contractility of muscle cells. This representative structure provides an up-close-and-personal perspective on the dynamics of contractile proteins working in concert to achieve mechanical contraction. This centerpiece working model was developed by a special effects company that works primarily for clients in the film industry and provides visitors to our exhibit an insiders’ view to the cellular machinery that is the subject of our muscle biology research.


Interactive Table

Our exhibit also contains an interactive tabletop with animations and graphics that describe the full complement of ongoing scientific and clinical activities at Cytokinetics. This interactive tool enables visitors a personalized and dynamic experience to learn more about Cytokinetics, our programs and the mechanism of action of our drug candidates.
