Andrew A. Wolff, M.D.

Andy has been our Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Research and Development since he joined us in September 2004.

Prior to Cytokinetics, he was at CV Therapeutics from 1994-2004, where he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, as well as holding various positions of increasing responsibility. Before CV Therapeutics, Andy held various drug development positions in both the U.S. and the UK for Syntex Corporation.

Since 1986, Andy has held an appointment in the Cardiology Division of the University of California, San Francisco, where he is currently an Associate Clinical Professor, and an Attending Cardiologist in the Coronary Care Unit at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Dr. Wolff received a B.A. degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Dayton and an M.D. from Washington University Medical School in Saint Louis, Missouri.
