Cytokinetics Completes $55.0 Million Series C Financing


Cytokinetics, Inc., a privately held biotechnology and informatics company focused on cytoskeletal drug discovery and cellular bioinformatics, announced today that it has completed a Series C Preferred Stock financing totaling $55.0 million. Leading the financing was new investor CSFB Private Equity. Other new investors include Alta Partners and Lombard Odier & Cie. Previous investors Mayfield Fund, Sevin Rosen Funds, Vulcan Ventures, Inc. and others also participated.
